There have been numerous questions regarding the Boson token sale so I have summarized the various offerings and their respective status:


1️⃣ Private Sale (angel, seed, and early SAFT rounds)

- Status: Completed/fully funded

- Only open to accredited investors in certain jurisdictions, KYC/AML checks required, minimum investment of $25,000 USD

- Successful applications have already been notified by email


2️⃣ Pre-sale SAFT 

- Status: Application process closed and successful applicants have been notified by email. Over 40x the allocation available was pledged 🚀

- Only open to investors in certain jurisdictions, KYC/AML checks required

- Applicants were selected based on many variables including marketing / outreach, influence, tenure in the group, and others 


3️⃣ Public sale

❓ Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: Does pre-registering guarantee me a spot in the token sale?

A: No. This is simply to register your interest in the token sale and to be the first to know when we release updates. There will be a separate whitelisting process.


Q:  Why do we need to pre-register?

A: There will be a KYC/AML check for all public sale purchasers. By pre-registering, you will be first to hear when this process goes live.


Q: What were the private/pre sale token prices?

A: We will be providing a more detailed tokenomics document soon (i.e. before the public sale) that details this. You can see the initial information on our token sale website (https://www.bosonprotocol.io/publicsale).


Q: Is there a KYC? Is the public sale open to US residents? 

A: Yes there will be a KYC process. Like most public sales, this one is NOT open to US residents. A full list of excluded juristictions will be provided ahead of the whitelist process.


Q:  Will there be secondary markets and a staking program?

A: More details to come soon.


Q: Will the public sale be a lottery system or first come first served? What will you do to combat gas wars and ensure a fair distribution?

A:  We are aware of these concerns. More details on the mechanism and platform specifics to come soon.
